Picture Extravaganza

I am still off O2 and since yesterday they took out the feeding tube - so I have to eat all by myself. They are now just feeding me when I wake up or no more than 4 hours after the last feed. So, it is taking a lot of energy for me to continue doing it all by myself. I didn't gain weight yesterday, but I didn't loose any either. So, pray that I can eat enough to gain some pounds...enjoy the pix..

Our First Family Photo with Trevor

2008 was a challenging and amazing year, with Trevor Jalen Rose coming 3 months early and spending 80 days in the NICU at Mary Birch Hospital in February, then two months of quarentine at home with Trevor (staying away from all the potential germs), to Trevor's first's of learning how to eat without choking, rolling over and sitting up by himself. We have had many ups and downs, but with the prayers and support from our family and friends we have made it through and are thankful for our healthy baby boy. We have been so encouraged by how God has shown His love through you. THANK YOU!!!

Fun Facts about Trevor's Start in Life

-For the first month of life, Trevor's diaper was the size of your palm (and it was still too big)!
-His feet were the size of the top half of your thumb
-His fingers were the width of a toothpick
-The first time Tina fed him her milk, she had to use an small dropper
-Until Trevor is 2 years old, the doctor's will evaluate him according to his "corrected" or "adjusted" age. So, since he was born 12 weeks early, he is measured as a baby three months younger than his birth age. (i.e.: on February 16th he will be one year old, but his corrected age is 9 months).
