Hernia Surgery on Thursday

I have surgery at 9:40 AM on Thursday. The surgery will be 2 1/2 hours long, I will recover at Mary Birch (where they say it could take 7-12 hours to get off the ventilator). They will stop feeding me at midnight tonight. Please pray I will be comfortable and my mom and dad will sleep well this evening. Pray for no infection, smooth surgery and a quick recover. Look for updates Thursday afternoon.

Dear Grandson,

I am already hurting for you--but you are a warrior and this will probably be a piece of cake. Sorry you have to fast a bit...I know how that goes. We will all breathe a little better by tomorrow afternoon.

Of course the prayers will go up--you can count on that. But more importantly is the ONE Whom we all can count on Who hears all prayers and acts according to His will as we pray according to His will. You can claim 3 John 2 which says, "Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers." We thank God for working through people...those who pray, the doctors, the nurses, many other caregivers and staff. Hey buddy....you have a whole team behind you and you are now on our team already teaching us so many things and demonstrating God's handiwork. You shall come out smelling like a Rose.
Love from Grandpa Fox

Dear Jeff, Tina & Precious Little Warrior Trevor,
Praise to our Lord for how well you are doing & how BIG you have grown!!!
I have not been able to get "on line & blog" I have dial-up and it dosen't always work great up here in Weaverville, but your sweet Nana has kept me up on the "Trevor Report", daily!
WE will continue in prayer for you & your parents. May the Lord give the Doctors wisdom & guide them as they perform surgery tomorrow & may His mighty healing hands be with you.
We love you all & you are heavy on our hearts!!!
You are in His Mighty Grip

Dear little warrior (and Mom and Dad) . . . a prayer for today.

Heavenly Father and most Gracious God, please bless and keep Trevor and his Mom and Dad in your loving care today and always. May YOUR peace settle upon them and be with the health care workers in their wisdom and skill as they perform this surgery and in the follow up care. Thank you for hearing our prayers and for the strength and mercy you give each day. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!
