Tuesday night updates for Trevor

Trevor came out of surgery this evening, doing well. They put two staples in his heart on the right vessel to stop the blood flow from going to his lungs.
The only small complication was a small air bubble over his heart, that they can easily fix within the next few hours if it doesn't go away.
He will be staying the night at Children's and stay sedated through the night.
Tina and Jeff will know more details tomorrow, and hopefully he will be transferred back to the NICU at Mary Birch tomorrow (Wednesday).
Please pray for Trevor's recovery. It will be a difficult recovery for the little guy. Going through a major surgery like that is hard on his body. Pray that he heals and that this does not set back his progress too much.

Little Mighty Warrior! Keep it up. Praying for your quick recovery, and for Dad and Mom for peace and strength. May this be your prayer; For You will be my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall.

Jeff and Tina,
I heard about your little warrior recently and have since been asking daily how he is doing. I look at the pictures of you and your sweet baby boy with tears in my eyes! How good God has been to you is evident. Having had a son in the nicu for only two days I have a little idea of how much your heart is torn out of your body every day praying for healing. You and your family are in my prayers and it sounds like your beautiful little warrior is a fighter! May God give you strength to get through each day as Trevor grows and gets stronger!
